I'm Emily, a wedding photographer.
I am based in Jacksonville, Florida and photograph weddings across Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
A steady, thoughtful approach to wedding photography.
My work is rooted in connection, observation, and photographing people as they truly are. My own life has been shaped by unexpected moments and meaningful relationships, which has created how I approach each wedding day. I value honesty, presence, and the quiet moments that often matter most.
I photograph weddings with intention and care, focusing on how your day looks and feels without forcing moments or interrupting the natural flow. My role is to be a calm, grounding presence, allowing you to stay present while I document what matters.
Working together.
Getting to know you helps me photograph your day with clarity and ease. When there's trust, the experience feels natural and unhurried. Your images will reflect that.
If you value photographs that are true to life, grounded, and emotionally honest, I'd love to hear about your plans.
Life experiences shape perspective.
I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022. During college, I worked in diverse roles from assistant wedding planner to greenhouse manager, dog walker, waitress, and zipline guide. All of these jobs taught me adaptability, attention to detail, and patience.
Quality time matters most.
My main love language is quality time. I cherish uninterrupted moments with the people I care about. I love having the opportunity to connect with my couples over coffee and get to know each other.
Simple joys.
I enjoy baking, board games, teaching myself the piano, reading on the beach, going on hikes with my husband, and training my dogs.
Giving back.
Photography is a way I contribute to the community. I volunteer as a photographer at the local animal shelter, with the Tilly Project, and with the Ridgeback Rescue of the US.
